Fort McCoy is a rural unincorporated community in northeastern Marion County, hard against the western edge of the Ocala National Forest, with acreage properties, small farms and a genuinely slower pace of growth than closer-in communities.

This is our most rural regular stop — properties here tend to be measured in acres, not lot lines, and jobs run heavier to fence-line clearing, barn and outbuilding teardown, and general land-clearing debris than anything you'd call a typical subdivision cleanout.
